Olamide’s latest EP ‘Ikigai’ debuts no. 13 on Billboard world albums chart

Nigerian music sensation, Olamide Adedeji professionally known as Olamide Badoo has achieved another worldwide record as his latest EP, “Ikigai (生き甲斐), Vol. 1,” debuted at number 13 on the Billboard World Albums chart.

The development demonstrates Olamide’s expanding prominence in global music and this is the seventh time Olamide’s music has appeared on this key list. 

“Ikigai” startled fans when it was released. Listeners all across the world have embraced its eclectic combination of sounds and topics.

The title is derived from a Japanese concept that means “a reason for living,” demonstrating Olamide’s growth as an artist and businessman.

“Ikigai” joins previous successful Olamide ventures that have made it to the Billboard World Albums top. These include: “Carpe Diem,” “999,” “Uy Scuti,” “Lagos Nawa,” “The Glory,” and “Eyan Mayweather.”

Olamide’s latest breakthrough solidifies his status as a major figure in Nigerian music, with a rising global appeal.
