Mixed reactions are currently trailing the supreme court order to extend the validity period of the old naira notes.

How can any reasonable govt introduce naira redesign just a month to election & you hailed them
They fixed a date for old naira without any plan for new naira to spread
You hailed them
Now. They said old naira should be legal tender again
It's crazy
And so, the Supreme Court rules: the old naira notes remains till December 31st 2023. Tinubu Presidency is a whole bunch of GOOD NEWS guys!
Eventually, it is the economic genius President Tinubu that will implement the policy.
Now, our country can move on an accelerated pace!— Adamu Garba II (@adamugarba) March 3, 2023
All of you that hailed Buhari and Emefiewele for the new Naira notes scarcity that affected none other than the average Nigerians, how do you feel now that the Court has ordered Old Naira notes to still be in circulation?

So all the scare and making people drop their old Naira notes was for Baba to gather his bribe money?I mean if you claim that the policy violates the Nigerian constitution, it should be totally cancelled, why would something violate a law and still stand ? pic.twitter.com/7XdqfhaN7h

No need for the end date...it should just be in circulation till the old Naira fades off ,while the new Niara should be printed more...simple..
