Olodo bridge: Oluwo commends contractor

The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has commended the contractor handling the Olodo bridge in Ibadan, Oyo State.

This is as the Osun monarch appreciated Engr. Lanre Adeleke construction firm, Peculiar Ultimate Concern Ltd, for a job weldone.

Oba Akanbi also described the bridge as the lubricator of commercial activities between Oyo and Osun States. 

Oba Akanbi made the commendation during a stop over at the site construction on Wednesday.

He expressed satisfaction on the quality of the job done by the contractor.

Oluwo urged commuters to exercise patience to ensure prime projects are delivered for perennial benefits.

"Olodo bridge is a lubricator of commercial activities between Oyo and Osun States. The bridge reconstruction has caused daily traffic pressure and affected the economic transactions between the two states as vehicles have to take longer alternative routes"

"With the speedy work on the site and quality of execution, the contractor deserves commendation. The contractor, Engr. Lanre Adeleke of Peculiar Ultimate Concern is delivering prime projects of international taste. I'm proud of his firm and everything project coming from him. He has been tested in several states and known for quality project.

"I extend my commendation to both Oyo and Osun State governments for their cooperation and interest in fixing Osogbo -Iwo-Ibadan road. When completed, it will foster more, the economic ties between the two states.

"I appeal to the comuters to exercise more patience with the government and the contractor. I'm impressed with what I saw here. We will all be alive to witness the commissioning.

Oluwo further drummed support for the leaders and prayed for a divine wisdom to navigate through the economic hardship and deliver dividends of democracy to the populace.

Engr. Adeleke assured road users that one phase of the bridge will be ready for use by the end of March, 2024.

"The bridge has dual phase. A single phase can contain three vehicles simultaneously. We will open one phase by March end while we move to complete the second phase. We are delivering a standard project with international taste and standard"
