Olowu's Ascension Described As Timely

The Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom, Chief Olujide Aderinokun has described the new Olowu of Owu Kingdom as being a monarch who is prepared for royal duties.

Aderinokin added that Oba Saka Adeola Matemilola due to his experience in the academia, corporate world, traditional institution and societal development has been equipped with the resources needed for such a task as being on the Owu throne.

Aderinokun stated this during a congratulatory visit to the monarch on Saturday in Owu.

"Your ascension to the throne comes at a time when Ogun State is in dire need of leaders with capacity and commitment to promote prosperity and development.

"Your proven track record makes you an invaluable asset for the development of Owu Kingdom."

The PDP Senatorial candidate in Ogun Central for the 2023 general elections also prayed that God would grant the King wisdom and courage required to oversee further progress and greater prosperity of Owu Kingdom.

"It is my prayer that your reign usher in great growth, development and continued peace in Owu Kingdom," he added. 

Oba Matemilola in his appreciation, applauded the Aderinokun for being a good ambassador of Owu Kingdom and he encouraged him to keep up his good works to impact the people.
