The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has congratulated the new Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun.
In a congratulatory message signed by Alli Ibraheem, his Chief Press Secretary and obtained by AllNews, Oba Akanbi expressed his readiness to work with the new Olubadan to further cement his ancestral affinity with Iwo, the home of Basorun Ogunmola and Balogun Ali Iwo.
Oluwo who said the managerial experience and exposure of the new Olubadan will tell on the fortune of Ibadanland urged critical stakeholders, government and individuals to cooperate with him.
While congratulating Oba Lekan Balogun and the entire Ibadanland, Oluwo described Olubadan's ascension as a historical revision, expressing assurance on the ingenuity of the new king to bring meritorious credits to the land.
Oluwo also prayed for a peaceful, long, productive and more prosperous year for the new Olubadan.
