Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Goes Back To First Love

After so many years, Nollywood screen goddess, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has announced that she would be going back into music - her first love.

AllNews reports that Omotola’s first album,’Gba’, was released in 2005, the second was unreleased and was to feature notable singers.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, the mother of four said she feels so alive on returning to music after several years.

She wrote “Yasss! I’m back! I feel so Alive ! ??When I told you Post Covid I’m doing ALL I’ve wanted to do some thought I was just motivating! I’m back to My Music! And this second time around No gates of Hell shall prevail. ??

Days ago, the screen diva celebrated 25 years in the entertainment industry, setting the internet on fire with stunning photos to celebrate the anniversary with captions about her achievements.

The Ondo descent made her Nollywood debut in 1995 after she accompanied a friend to an audition. She played a lead role in the movie Venom of Justice, directed by Reginald Ebere.

In her recent interview, the 42-year-old actress stated that the industry was nothing to be proud of in 26 to 27 years, but she is grateful for the growth.

Omosexy has appeared in over 300 films and has received numerous high-profile awards. She has also been severally applauded for her remarkable humanitarian efforts.

Married to a pilot, Matthew Ekeinde, the screen diva is one of the pioneers of the video film era of Nigerian cinema, becoming one of the most-watched actresses in Africa.
