Reports reaching AllNews Nigeria indicates that the House of Assembly election in Ondo State has been marred by low turnout of voters.
It was observed in Akure, the Ondo State capital that few accredited voters turned up to vote at some of the polling units.
The development was different during the Presidential and National Assembly elections which had large voters’ turnout.
Meanwhile, local officials hired towncriers to make personal appeals and convince residents to come out for the exercise.
