Ondo state deputy governor and the candidate of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) at the forthcoming Governorship election Agboola Ajayi has boasted that he will emerge victorious ahead of his principal Rotimi Akeredolu and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Eyitayo Jegede.
Giving reasons why he will win the forthcoming governorship election, Jegede said that his boss Akeredolu had failed the people.
Also, Agboola accused the ruling party and the Governor of lackluster performance.
Further commenting on why PDP will not stand a chance, Agboola said that the party had no structure to win the election in Ondo State.”

According to him PDP breached the zoning arrangement and would not be getting votes from the electorates
He stated this when he received former PDP members in Okitipupa Local Government, led by a former governorship aspirant, Banji Okunomo, and an ex-chairman of the local government, Solomon Bitire, on Wednesday.
Agboola, who dumped the APC over disputes with the Governor, said the “achievements of Akeredolu in the last three and a half years fell short of people’s expectations.”
It will be recalled that Agboola who was initially a member of APC dumped the party to seek the Governorship ticket of PDP. However, his failure to win the party's primary saw him decamp again to ZLP where he got the party's ticket on a platter.
