Ondo Decides 2020: APC Screens Akeredolu Ahead of Governorship Election

The All Progressive Congress in Ondo State has screened Governor Rotimi Akeredolu ahead of Party's Primary elections scheduled for this month.

Making this disclosure via his social media page was Akeredolu who commended the screening panel members for being professional and courteous said the party made an excellent choice with the selection of the committee members.

Taking to his official twitter handle to reveal that he had just been screened by the Party's committee, Akeredolu wrote:

"I have just undergone screening by my party @OfficialAPCNg Members of the committee were thorough, scrutinizing all documents amongst other questions. I believe the party made excellent choices of the committee members. Very professional and courteous."

Akeredolu will be seeking to retain his position as the Ondo state Governor Come September 2020. 

With his Deputy Governor decamping to the main opposition to contest against him, Akeredolu's re-election bid is not going to be an easy ride.
