In preparation for the forthcoming Ondo State Governorship election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Alhaji Tijjani Tumsa, the party's former National Secretary (Interim) as the chairman of the screening committee for the party's primaries in the state.
Contained in a statement titled “Tumsa, Kareto Chairs APC Ondo Governorship Aspirants Screening, Appeal Committees,” and signed by the APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, the statement revealed that the Screening and appeal committee will be inaugurated today.
Also naming Alhaji Umar Lawan-Kareto as the Chairman of the Appeal Committee, the statement read: “The Governor Mai Mala Buni-chaired Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress has appointed the Party’s former interim National Secretary, Alhaji Tijjani Musa Tumsa to chair the Party’s screening committee for Ondo State governorship aspirants.
