Ondo Decides 2020: INEC Announces Akeredolu As Winner Of Sta

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the incumbent Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Governorship election that held on October 10 in Ondo state.

Announcing Akeredolu as the winner of the election Idowu Olayinka, Rufus Akeju, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for INEC in Ondo State announced Akeredolu as the winner of the election after explaining that the number of votes margin between Akeredolu and his closest opponent was way more than the cancelled votes.

Akeredolu polled a total of 292,830 votes to defeat Eyitayo Jegede of the People's Democratic Party (PDP)  who polled a total of 195, 791 and his Deputy Governor who polled a total of 69, 127.
