Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently leading as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announces the Ondo Election Result.
AllNews reports that Akeredolu, who is seeking a second term in office, is leading his main challenger, Eyitayo Jegede of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) with over 81,000 votes.
This is according to the results that INEC has declared in 12 local government areas collation centres.
'Aketi' so far has 189,489 votes while Jegede has collected 108,195 votes, winning 11 of the 12 local government results.
The INEC officials called for a 'recess' and said they'll be back by 9 am.
