As Ondo Election Result trickles in, a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Shina Abiola-Peller has rubbished an online allegation that he, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State are forcing their will on the people.
A social media user, @omoba_scholes had claimed that Peller, in conjunction with the South West states governors has the backing of "the national level" to manipulate the Ondo Election 2020.
But reacting, Peller, from Iseyin in Oyo State and of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said it is "foolish to think so".
He countered the claim via his verified Twitter handle on Saturday night.
Propagators of fake news are at it again. That I intimidated voters in Ondo State is laughable and foolish to think so. I am here as the Secretary of the APC reconciliation committee of Ondo State to make sure that my party is united to stand behind Gov. @RotimiAkeredolu https://t.co/DObBhpvDev

... as he coasts to victory. I do not support violence and I know the will of the people cannot be subverted. Ondo state indigenes say the state is for continuity and they are not ready to start all over again.
