The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has spoken on the boat misshape that occurred during the movement of personnel and materials to the riverine Registration Areas of Ilaje LGA.
Confirming the incidence, the electoral commission, disclosed that all personnel involved in the boat misshape were rescued.

INEC also revealed that the election materials were retrieved.
"INEC can confirm that there was an incident last night during the movement of personnel and materials to the riverine RAs of Ilaje LGA for today's #OndoDecides2020 election.
"Fortunately, all personnel and election materials were rescued when the boat capsized," a tweet by INEC read.
It will be recalled that AllNews earlier reported that a boat conveying election officials and materials to the Registration Areas in the riverine part of Ilaje capsized.
