Ondo Election Update: Popular Politician Says Cases Of Viole

As AllNews provides you with Ondo Election Update, business mogul cum politician, Jimoh Ibrahim has dismissed the forecasts of violence in the Sunshine State.

Recall that AllNews reported that the Nigerian Police confirmed an incidence of sporadic shooting at Polling Unit 11, Oke-Ijebu, Akure, the state capital, by some political thugs.

The police however said that it had deployed its officers to the scene in Oke-Ijebu, Akure to restore order and to ensure that the election continues.

Ibrahim spoke with journalists at his polling unit in Igbotako, Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state.

“These (cases of) violence are imaginary. They come from people’s imagination. Nobody has died in Ondo Senatorial District. So, where is the violence coming from?”

Speaking further on the voting process, Ibrahim said "there’s any problem as far as this unit is concerned".

“Materials arrived in good time. People are here.

"Quite unusual, they started very early.

"The card readers are working very fine.

"I don’t think there’s any problem as far as this unit is concerned.”
