Ondo Guber: Aiyedatiwa, man with uncommon grace — Adekanmb

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Femi Adekanmbi has pledged his support for the state governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa.

Adekanmbi said he is encouraged with what the governor has done within few months in office.

He added that there is the prospect of a greater and even development in Ondo State by the Aiyedatiwa led administration if given a fresh mandate.

"The governor is doing well and i am giving him my support to secure a fresh mandate to enable him continue his development strides.

"Gov. Aiyedatiwa‘s special attention to the rural areas is winning him support from the people, and is also positioning him as a candidate who is interested in serving the needs of all the people of Ondo State, not just the urban elites.

"Former American President, Barack Obama famously said 'he was elected because he believed in grassroots politics'. Politics from the bottom up, not the top down."

Adekanmbi added that his administrative style has restored hope for the poor, this is apparently the first time in a long while we are having a governor with massive interest in the grassroots.

He stated that other governorship aspirants are eminently qualified such as Olusola Oke, who is special breed and a politician of note.

"Wale Akinterinwa, a brilliant, well versed and studious in his professional practice, and Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, a well knowledgeable, cerebral and accomplished man. The same thing applies to Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly, a two term member of the House of Representatives.

"But divine providence made Aiyedatiwa the governor of Ondo State and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

According to Adekanmbi, " Our national leader has directed us to ensure not only his emergence as our candidate but the winner of the general election in November.

"Gov. Aiyedatiwa is a man of uncommon grace. He is favoured by God to lead the state, and he does things that go against the natural order, suspends rules and goes against an acceptable culture or pattern for his annointed," the statement reads
