One-cap Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Peter Olayinka has proposed to his girlfriend.
Olayinka took to his known Instagram page on Sunday to reveal the news.
AllNews understands that the light-skinned partner of the football player, Yetunde Barnabas, assented to the athlete's proposal, something which delighted the Slavia Prague of Czech Republic forward.
Olayinka wrote: "With my OMALICHA NWA, and she said YES TO ME. THANK YOU LOML."
His followers took to the comment section to congratulate him.
Among those that send their best wishes to Olayinka are actress Mide Funmi Martins, Barcelona Femení attacker, Asisat Oshoala, and Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon.
Ibadan-born Olayinka recently extended his contract with the Czech champions.
He joined Slavia Prague in 2018 from Belgian side, Gent, for a fee of € 3.20m.
The 25-year-old has won two Czech league titles, one MOL Cup and Czechoslovak Supercup since joining Slavia Prague.
Yetunde Barnabas was born and bred in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, though her family is originally from Kogi State.
She initially gained recognition as the winner of The Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja pageant in 2017 and was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria in 2019.
Yetunde is a Nigerian model, beauty queen, actress, and film producer.
She is best known for her role as Miss Pepeiye on Nigeria's long-running sitcom, 'Papa Ajasco and Company', as well as several leading roles in the Yoruba movie industry.
