One Dead As Dangote Cement Truck Causes Havoc In Ogun

A Dangote cement truck has caused havoc in Ogun state as one person has been confirmed dead in a road crash.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) spokesperson in the state, Florence Okpe, confirmed this incident in a statement on Friday.

She said the crash occurred at about 0930HRS on Mosinmi-Sagamu route, around Meriton Company.

Okpe disclosed that four persons – three men and one woman – were involved in the accident.

While one man died in the road crash, the three others were rescued unhurt.

“The suspected cause of the crash was wrongful overtaking,” the FRSC confirmed.

According to reports, the corpse has been deposited at the Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital, Sagamu.
