One Dead In Early Morning Crash In Ogun

A fatal motor accident has been reported at Onipepeye Village inbound Abeokuta on the PMB Expressway, Obafemi/Owode local government area of Ogun State.

The accident which occurred on Sunday was caused by excessive speeding and loss of control on the part of the driver.

The unfortunate incident was between a white IVECO truck with registration number SRA158XB and a white and blue coloured IVECO truck with registration number AKM59XT.

Ogun TRACE also reported that among the five male occupants of the vehicles, two males sustained varying degrees of injuries while a male driver of one of the IVECO trucks lost his life in the crash.

The injured victims and presumed dead were taken to hospital and morgue respectively.
