One Killed, Another Injured As Gunmen Attack Ebubeagu In Ebonyi

Panic As Ebubeagu Operatives Invade Imo Community, Kill Many

Gunmen have attacked members of the Ebubeagu security outfit in Ebonyi State, killing one and injuring another.

A reliable source said that the incident happened on Sunday at Umuezekoha, in the Ezza North Local Government Area of the state.

The Ebubeagu operatives were said to be waiting for their Chairman of the local government when the gunnmen who operated on a motorcycle struck.

The deceased Ebubeagu operative was identified as Oroke Monday, while the injured who was taken to the hospital was identified as Nweke Ikechukwu.

The remains of the deceased was said to have been deposited at a hospital in the state capital, Abakaliki.
