One live lost, five rescued after Lagos mosque collapses dur

The Lagos Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has reported that five individuals were rescued, and one fatality was confirmed following the collapse of a mosque in Papa Ajao, Mushin, on Sunday. 

Femi Osanyintolu, the permanent secretary of LASEMA, issued a statement in Lagos, providing details of the incident. 

According to Osanyintolu, the collapse occurred during prayer at the mosque located on Yusuf Street, off Ladipo Road, Papa Ajao. 

Search and rescue efforts are underway, coordinated by Osanyintolu, with emergency responders including the LASEMA response team, police, Lagos State Ambulance Service, and Lagos State Fire Service actively involved at the scene.
