The Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu are expected to be at the reunion of the 1980-1983 Law Students of the University of Lagos Alumni Association.
In a press briefing signed by the Chairman, Local Organising Committee, Hon. Justice Idowu Alakija and the national Publicity Secretary, Francis Effanga, the reunion is titled ‘Eko 2020-2022’ and would hold at The Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja from the 8th to 10th of April, 2022.
The Vice- Chancellor, University of Lagos, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, President of the Alumni Association, President of Channels TV, Dr. John Momoh, the Dean, Faculty of Law and other renowned Professors of Law from the University of Lagos will also be in attendance at the reunion.
“Eko 2020-2022 will be celebrating its 13th to 15th combined annual reunion in Lagos.
"The highlights of the event with the theme ‘Celebrating 40 plus years of friendship,’ starts with a welcome party on Friday, April 8 whilst the Annual General Meeting will hold on April 9.
The reunion will end with a grand finale dinner same day.
“There will be thanksgiving service on Sunday, April 10, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Rose of Sharon, Adekunle Fajuyi Way, Ikeja, for Christians while the Muslim members will hold prayers at the Raddison Blu Mosque within the Radisson Blu Hotel premises", the release read.
