Osun 2022: Allow Us To Complete What We Have Started - Osun Deputy Governor

As the Osun State gubernatorial election approaches, the state's Deputy Governor, Benedict Alabi Adegboyega has called on the Osun electorates to allow the All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration to complete what they have started.

The Deputy Governor made this known on Sunday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Osun province 1 and 9.

Addressing the congregants, the Deputy Governor stated that it is important as humans to always recognise God as the only one who can enthrone and dethrone.

He said the administration of Oyetola has enjoyed the benevolence of God, despite the challenges.

“God has been so gracious to us and our government.

"You will remember that a lot of challenges face us as government

“No doubt, the pandemic that struck which led to the economic recession; EndSars protest among other challenges really affected us, but we were able to fulfil all promises made to the people of Osun in 2018.

“During our campaign in 2018, I visited 48 churches, solicited for their support and after we won, I went back to thank them.

"This one has started. After the election, I am coming back to show my appreciation."

Alabi who admonished the residents to shun any form of financial inducement in the forthcoming election added that whatever they collect cannot take them for the next four years.

“Don’t sell your vote, if you do, you will pay for it.

"Oyetola has changed the style of governance in our dear state, this is not the time to experiment the life of our state with someone who has not worked anywhere before coming into politics.

"What we have started, allow us to complete.”
