A 37-year-old man identified as Sola Ajibade who hails from Ibadan, Oyo State, has been apprehended by members of the Osun Amotekun Corps.
The arrest follows his alleged involvement in breaking and entry, (burglary).
He allegedly broke into a residence in Ode-Omu and stole a 32-inch Plasma TV.
The suspect who specialises in burglary and theft was arrested by the operatives of Amotekun at Ode-Omu, Osun State after a complaint was lodged at Irewole Area Command against the attack of the suspect.
The Osun Amotekun Commander, Brigadier General Bashir Adewinmbi said after the complaint, the operatives swung into action immediately and arrested the suspect on the spot.
The arrest was also confirmed to journalists in Osogbo by the Corps Commander, General Adewinmbi.
"During investigation, the suspect confessed to committing the act and that he is a serial burglar. He said he always dispose stolen items at Mokola, Ibadan.
"The suspect has been handed over to the police for subsequent interrogation and prosecution."
