Osun Amotekun Nabs, Parades Grave Digger

The Operatives of the Western Nigerian Security Network, Amotekun Corps have paraded three suspected criminals arrested within Osun State.

One of the persons identified as 33-year-old Afeez Odusanya, a suspected ritualist, was arrested for extracting the tooth of dead bodies at a burial ground which he intended for money ritual purpose at Ilesa.

Other suspects are 30-year-old Ibrahim, who was arrested for stealing wielding engines and Toheeb, 35, who was arrested for stealing mechanical tools.

The 33 year old suspect who during parade on Thursday by Osun Amotekun in Osogbo confessed to the crime revealed that he started his quest for money ritual in 2016.

Odusanya disosed that it failed twice after extracting teeth from two different bodies in Sagamu in Ogun State.

Odusanya explained that the two bodies he earlier evacuated were at different times between 2016 and 2020 but that he was arrested after the third attempt at the Ilesa burial ground.

“I was caught after I evacuated a corpse at a burial ground in Ilesha which I want to use for money ritual.

"I have been evacuating corpses since 2016 and removing their parts for money ritual purposes but the rites failed.

"I evacuated corpses at Sagamu, Ogun State but was caught in Osun while trying to remove the tooth of a corpse.

“It takes me about 30 minutes to remove the tooth from the corpse.

"It takes me lesser time with my previous experiences.”

The Field Commander, Osun Amotekun, Amitolu Shittu, disclosed that the suspects will be handed over to conventional security for prosecution.
