Osun APC Primary: Gubernatorial Appeal Committee Dismisses A

The Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primary election appeal committee has dismissed the appeal brought before it by Moshood Adeoti.

The decision to dismiss the appeal arrived at on Friday.

The APC gubernatorial primary election took place on Saturday, February 19, 2022, and the incumbent governor of the state, Adegboyega Oyetola emerged the winner after a long-drawn electoral process.

Oyetola polled 222,169 votes to emerge victorious by defeating two other aspirants, Moshood Adeoti who polled 12,921 votes, and Lasun Yusuf who polled 461 votes.

Moshood Adeoti was the candidate of the Rauf Aregbesola faction of the Osun APC.

The faction had after the exercise assured its members that it would seek redress through all legal means.
