Osun Election Petition Tribunal, Federal High Court Adjourn Sitting

The Osun Election Petition Tribunal has adjourned its scheduled sitting to October 4, 2022.

The adjournment came on Monday as the petition tribunal commenced sitting un Osogbo, Osun State.

There were reports of heavy security presence at the Osun State High Court promises, Oke-Fia, the venue of the tribuna sitting.

Meanwhile, the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo adjourned the hearing on the proposed local government elections slated for October 25, 2022, to Thursday, September 29, 2022.

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has also joined in the suit.

The party according to its counsel, Gideon Omoniyi Oludayo said his client was interested in joining the suit which the court has granted.
