Osun Election Result Will Shock Nigerians - Lasun Yusuff

Lasun Yusuff, the Labour Party gubernatorial candidate in the July 16, Osun gubernatorial election has stated that the result of the election will shock Nigerians.

The former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives also boasted that he will come out victorious in the Osun gubernatorial election, beating the two big political parties and their candidates.

Making this known during a live radio current affairs monitored in Osogbo on Thursday, Yusuff insisted that his track record will earn him and his party victory.

"When I speak to people about what I have done in the past, people tell me not to talk, we know what you have done and we trust your competency."

Speaking on his plan for the people of Osun, he said he will build an enviable economy for the state and involve government in the running of businesses.

While maintaining that only the ignorant criticise government against involving in businesses, he cited successes of the government of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo involvement in different businesses.

He however said he will not criticise or rate the state governor, Adegboyega Oyetola until he wins the election.

“When I get to office and see what is in the book then you will see what I will do, " he said.
