The Osun State Government has approved the appointment of 30 officers to the position of Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service.
According to a statement signed by Dr Festus Olowogboyega Oyebade, the state's Head of Service and made available on Thursday in Osogbo, the appointments of the officers were to fill the existing vacancies in the Osun State Civil Service.
The officers according to the statement are:

2. Engr. S. O. Ajao
3. Mr. M. A. K. Jimoh
4. Mr. R. A. Popoola
5. Dr. D. O. Ogunrinade
6. Mrs. J. K. Odediran
7. Mr. Oyesiku Adelu
8. Mr. Babajide Falade
9. Mrs. Funmilola Oyewole
10. Mr. O.A. Ogundun
11. Mrs. Bukola Aderibigbe
12. Mrs. Taiwo Oladunjoye
13. Dr.A. A Oni
14. Mr. Lekan Babalola
15. Mrs. Sola Akinsola
16. Mr. K.N. Akintola
17. Mr. J. S. Adekomi
18. Mrs Jibola Falode
19. Mis AY Esan

The statement also disclosed that the swearing ceremony of the new Permanent Secretaries would hold later at the Local Government Service Commission hall on Thursday evening.
Reacting, the spokesperson of Ademola Adeleke, the Osun State Governor-elect, Olawale Rasheed has warned that any officer who attended the swearing ceremony risked losing their job on Monday.
Olawale also stated that taking such appointments at this last minute indicated the readiness of those Directors to exit the state service.
"We want to put on record that those who accept the appointments should be ready to leave the service whether or not their service tenure has reached statutory age.
"The occupants will be treated as political appointees who will automatically follow the outgoing Governor out of public service from November 28.
"At the same time, those who still want to remain in service of the Osun state government should decline the Greek gift from the outgoing Governor.
"We affirm that no waiver will be entertained in sacking from office any kangaroo permanent secretary", the statement concluded.
