The British High Commission has expressed its readiness to support all efforts geared towards ensuring a credible governorship election in Osun state next month.
Wale Adebajo, the Political Adviser to the Commission in Nigeria, stated this during a visit of the Commission's team to Governnor Adegboyega Oyetola in Osogbo on Tuesday.
Adebajo who said the commision would be joining other international organisations to monitor the election urged political parties to toll the path of peace before, during and after the election.
While responding, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola expressed his commitment to ensuring peace throughout the electioneering in spite of the provocation in some quarters.
In his remark, All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore assured that the party and its members would be of good conducts in the pursuance of the election victory
