As Senator Ademola Adeleke becomes set to assume office as the sixth executive governor of Osun State, preparations have reached top gear for the ceremony.
Senator Adeleke who won the July 16, 2022, Osun gubernatorial election will be sworn in today, November 27, 2022, at the Osogbo City Stadium, Osogbo.
Adekeke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defeated the outgone governor, Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to emerge winner and governor-elect.
His victory at the guber poll meant that the PDP would be coming to power again in the state after a 12 years hiatus.
The last PDP governor before Ademola Adeleke was Olagunsoye Oyinlola who was ousted by a judgment of the Court of Appeal on November 26, 2010.
