Osun Institution Rector Escapes Gunmen Attack

Dr Samson Akinbamide Adegoke, the Acting Rector of the Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke on Monday evening escaped an attack by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.

It was gathered that the attack occurred at Eti-Oni junction, which is a few kilometres from the institution’s gate.

The Rector’s vehicle it was also gathered was riddled with bullets and the alleged assassins aimed for his life.

The Police Public Relations Officer of Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola also confirmed the attack on Dr Adegoke. 

She however revealed that the investigation is still ongoing.

“Yes, we have heard about it. We’re currently investigating it and we’ll soon fish out the culprits.”
