Osun NSCDC Charges Personnel On Political Exclusion

As preparation for the 2022 Osun gubernatorial elections is in top gear, the Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Osun Command, Emmanuel Ocheja has urged the personnel to be apolitical.

The Commandant made this known via a press statement issued to journalists by Adigun Daniel, the Public Relations officer of the state Command, at the end of an interactive session with area commanders and divisional heads at the command headquarters in Osogbo.

Commandant Ocheja also charged the personnel to strengthen their efforts on surveillance and intelligence gathering in order to justify the existence of the corps.

The Osun NSCDC boss while noting that security thrives on proactive intelligence also called on the people to provide such so as to enable the corp carry out its work.

He stressed that the personnel must step up their operational strategy to fulfil the mandates of the corps.
