Osun NYSC Kicks Off Batch C Stream 1 Orientation Course

The three weeks orientation course for the 2021 Batch C Stream 1 prospective corps members deployed to Osun State for the one-year mandatory service has commenced Wednesday, October 20 at the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Ede, Osun State, and will run till Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

In a press release made available by Winifred Shokpeka, the Osun NYSC Coordinator and signed by Funmi Okundaye, the prospective corps members were advised to comply with COVID-19 preventive protocols.

She also asked the corps members to be vaccinated and present themselves in the orientation camp with facemasks, fully prepared to adhere strictly to the COVID-19 regulations by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

According to the press release, "Prospective corps members should strictly adhere to the COVID-19 protocols of regular hand washing, social distancing and appropriate use of the nose mask. 

"They are to be vaccinated if they are yet to do so as this will safeguard them against the Delta variant of the Coronavirus. 

"Try to be open-minded to learn new things and to ask questions when in doubt.

"I enjoin you to imbibe discipline and security consciousness, perseverance, and hard work as it will be of tremendous help during and after the orientation exercise."

The new Osun NYSC Coordinator, who was elated at being part of the process of raising a generation of responsible youths also expressed delight with the safe arrival of the prospective corps members from different parts of the country.
