Osun PDP: Appellate Court Rules In Favour Of Ademola Adeleke

The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure has ruled in favour of Ademola Adeleke as the legitimate candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Dotun Babayemi who contested in a parallel PDP gubernatorial primaries had gone to court to challenge the validity of the primaries conducted by the national leadership that produced Adeleke as the party’s gubernatorial candidate.

Adeleke defeated the incumbent governor, Oyetola by scoring 403,371 votes, while the latter had 375,027 votes.

Meanwhile, the incumbent governor, Adegboyega Oyetola and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have stated that they were still studying the report and would come out with a response at the appropriate time.
