Osun Road Crash Leaves Twenty Persons Injured

A white Ranger commercial bus with registration number NRK192XB on Friday evening was involved in a lone accident at Oguro junction, Iwo-Ibadan road.

The serious crash also left twenty persons fatally injured.

This was made known in a first information report made available to AllNews Nigeria Friday by the Osun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).

Agnes Ogungbemi, the spokesperson of the of the command who stated that the injured victims had been taken to Victory and Ikeolu Hospital, Iwo for treatment explained that the accident was caused as a result of tyre burst which led to the driver losing control of the vehicle.

The breakdown of the victims according to her include seven males and 11 female adults , one male and one female child.

She also explained that the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Feesu, Iwo branch has taken over the vehicle.
