#OsunDecides2022: Adeleke's Victory Good Omen For PDP In 2023 Elections — Dino Melaye

Former Senator Dino Melaye has felicitated Senator Ademola Adeleke on his victory at the just-concluded Osun State gubernatorial election.

The election took place on Saturday and it was disclosed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that Adeleke got 403,371 votes from 30 LGAs while incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola polled 375,027.

Reacting to the victory in a statement on Sunday, Dino Melaye stated it was a good omen for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming 2023 elections.

"This is a good omen for our party and signs of things to come in 2023. The victory of our party in Osun State is an indication of the confidence of ordinary Nigerians in the ability of the PDP to change the narrative and deliver good governance to all", he said.

Speaking further, Melaye congratulated the people of Osun State for the smooth conduct of the election, adding that they were the real winners over them freely choosing their leader for the next four years.
