There was mild drama at the media centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Osogbo as security officers told journalists and party representatives to exit halll.
AllNews Nigeria learned that the purpose for the request was to set up the central collation centre for results to be announced from all local governments.
This elicited an uproar among journalists present who had been sitting in the media centre for hours.
Others added that the security personnel observed that many of the political party representatives had accessed the hall without accreditation tags.
Also, the request may have been part of measures to curtail any incident of violence after the announcement of the gubernatorial election result.
The final collation of result is expected to take place at the State Collation Centre any moment from now.
