'Our Election Is Under Coordinated Assault And Siege' - Trum

Incumbent President of the United States, Donald Trump, as part of his refrain of election fraud, has said that he is "determined to protect" the American election system, as the US election is "under coordinated assault and siege."

Trump made this remark in a video where he started off by declaring that the speech "may be the most important speech" he's ever given.

He goes on to describe the Nov. 3 election as the "ridiculously long elections", adding that the country used to have "election day" but now has "election days, weeks, and months" during which "bad things happened".

Although the video posted on Twitter was 2 minutes longs, there was a link to a longer version, one that ran for 46 minutes.

"As president, I have no higher duty than to defend the laws of the Constitution of the United States.

"That is why I am determined to protect our election system, which is now under coordinated assault and siege.

"For months leading up to the presidential election, we were warned that we should not declare a premature victory.

"We were told, repeatedly, that it would take weeks, if not months, to determine the winner, to count the absentee ballots, and to verify the results."

Trump goes on to say that the team of President-elect Joe Biden, despite being told "to stay away from the election" and to not campaign, and acted like they already knew "what the outcome was going to be".

"They had it covered, and perhaps they did very sadly for our country. It was all very, very strange."

He restates his position that illegal ballots were being counted, and vowed to "defend the honesty of the vote by ensuring that every legal ballot is counted and that no illegal ballot is counted."
