Nigerian star Oxlade has recounted how the remix of his hit single ‘KU LO SA’ featuring Cuban-born American singer and songwriter Camila Cabello happened.
On the Radar Radio, he said that he is a big fan of Camila and had insisted that it is either his record label gets her on the remix or the remix won’t happen.
According to him, he was later to realize that she was a fan of the song even before the remix offer was given to her.
“Firstly, I’m a big fan. And that is the only name I told my label to get me.
"I was so hell-bent on it. They were; ‘what about this?’ I said no, get her for me or we aren’t dropping no remix.
“I told them only her and having her on the song is something special for me.
"I ended up finding out that she also really like the song way before she was given the offer.
“She is so sweet and she has a great personality,” Oxlade said.
‘KU LO SA’ remix was released on December 9 and was produced by the serial hitmaker, Igbinoba Osaze popularly known as Ozedikus.
The music video premiered on YouTube on December 16 and was directed by Boma Iluma.
