A notorious kidnapper, Tairu has been apprehended by the operatives of the Oyo State Amotekun Corps in the Oke-Ogun axis.
The suspect, a Fulani has also admitted to having kidnapped two people and making about N 800,000.
He also revealed during interrogation that he is not new to kidnapping.
Prior to his capture, after two successful attempt at kidnapping, Tairu stated that he abducted Sarara Jibrin, a 10-year-old Fulani, in the Iganna, Oke-Ogun area of the state.
He also admitted that he worked with a four-man gang to kidnap the victim while he was caring for his father's cows and after a N4 million ransom was demanded.
Tairu claimed that he was apprehended and taken into custody while he attempted to charge his phone.
The victim's father told journalists that he reported the incident to the Amotekun Corps and vigilantes in Iwajowa local government after he was contacted to pay the ransom.
Colonel Olayinka Olayanju (rtd), the Commandant of Oyo Amotekun Corps said the other three members of the kidnapping syndicate, fled when they got wind that their leader, Tairu had been arrested.
However, the Amotekun Corps was fortunate to have arrested another member of the team on Tuesday.
