Oyo: Chaos as truck offloading fuel catches fire

A fire incident at the NNPC filling station AGIP area of Iseyin town, Iseyin local government area of Oyo State has caused panic among residents.

Allnews.ng learned that residents flee for safety as the fire outbreak occurred when a trailer, loaded with Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS) caught fire while offloading its content.

A fuel attendant who spoke on condition of anonymity, said nobody was injured but sought the immediate response of the State fire fighters in the community.

”The fire started when the consignment that just arrived was being offloaded, we thank God no life was lost and no one was injured,” he hinted.

As of the time of filing this report, the Federal Fire Service and the Oyo State Fire Service are yet to react to the fire incident.
