There is tension in Sepeteri, a community in Oke Ogun, Saki East Local Government Area of Oyo state as bandits attack local vigilantes  inside the forest reserve.

Allnews.ng learned the reserve is part of the Old Oyo National Park.

A credible source said  one person was killed and two people were abducted by the bandits few days ago.

It was also gathered that one of the victims who managed to escape, informed the leaders of the community about the presence of the bandits inside the tick forest.

However, another source who confirmed the incident said the local vigilantes swung into action yesterday, combed the forest and  repelled the bandits who engaged them  in gun duel.

But some of the vigilantes who sustained injuries were reportedly hospitalized at  Igboho for medical treatment.

As at the time of filling this report, local security are collaborating with the government Security agencies  to sanitizing the area  and rescue other kidnapped victims.

Also, Allnews.ng recalled that about five people were killed in Iwere Ile few weeks ago and another killed in Otu during the farmers herders clash.

But Governor Makinde in a one of his earlier newsletters have noted that the state is considering implementation of 2019 Anti grazing law as a way to address incessant farmers/herders clash.
