Oyo Governor Extends Hands Of Fellowship To Opponents

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has extended an olive branch to his co-contestants in the Oyo guber election.

Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ran against the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Teslim Folarin and Bayo Adelabu Penkelemesi of the Accord Party and others.

The governor made the gesture on Saturday while speaking on a live radio programme in Ibadan.

“As for my co-contestants, let us sit together and join hands together to move our state forward.

“I want to tell you that God has destined me to win and it could be your turn tomorrow.

"In the next four years, another person will become the governor.

"So, let’s work together in the best interest of our state," he added.
