Makinde Declares Intention To Run For 2nd Term
Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has reinstated all political appointees in his cabinet who resigned in order to contest the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election.
Governor Makinde made this known on Friday while addressing all candidates on the party's platform in Ibadan.
"I have directed the SSG to reinstate all political appointees who resigned their appointments to contest at the just concluded PDP primaries in the state to be reinstated,” Makinde said.
Makinde who encouraged all the aspirants not to feel embittered for losing out at the primary assured them that what was on ground in terms of portfolio was still enough to go around.
The reinstatement of all the said political appointees according to Governor Makinde is with immediate effect.
