Oyo Police Command releases exams date, CBT centres for recr

Oyo State Police Command says the Police Service Commission, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, will be finalizing the ongoing 2022 recruitment exercise for police Constables nationwide.

In a statement by the Oyo state police public relations officer, Adewale Osifeso on Tuesday indicated that the Computer-based test (CBT) for Oyo State residents will take place from Tuesday, 5th March, to Wednesday, 6th March 2024, at the specified venues.

Osifeso said only those who have successfully passed will take the examination, urging participants in the screening exercise to visit https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to print their schedule slip, showing the venue, date, and time of the aptitude/CBT test.

The Venues/Exams Centres include the following:


CENTRES WITHIN IBADAN WEST:

1. EMBETH CBT CENTER, NEW GARAGE/AKALA EXPRESSWAY, OPPOSITE RICHBAM FILLING STATION, KUOLA BUS STOP, IBADAN, OYO STATE.

2. FEDERAL COLLEGE OF FORESTRY CBT CENTER, AFTER ALL SAINTS CHURCH ALONG IDI-ISHIN, NIHORT ROAD, JERICHO HILLS, IBADAN, OYO STATE.

CENTERS WITHIN IBADAN-EAST

3. ALIKO E-NET ICT CENTRE, ROAD 3, AMOO ALI BOLARIN LAYOUT BEHIND TOG OIL AND GAS FILLING STATION, NNPC ROAD, APATA, IBADAN.

4. HISMAY CBT CENTER, NO 1, NIGERIA BREWERY, NEW-IFE EXPRESSWAY, IBADAN, OYO STATE.

5. ICON ONLINE PROFESSIONAL TUTORS, CENTRE 2, PLOT 22/23, TINUADE COMMERCIAL HOUSE, OLOGUNERU ROAD, ELEYELE, IBADAN.

6. I- FLIER,INT SCHOOL CBT CENTER 1, UNIT 1-3, I-FLIER COLLEGE ROAD, OPPOSITE BOSCO YOUTH CENTRE, OGUNGBADE ROAD, EGBEDA, IBADAN.

“Consequently, the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Adebola A.Hamzat, psc, FICMC, fdc, PhD, has directed all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, Intelligence operatives, tactical commanders and personnel from the Explosive Ordinance Disposal-Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Department (EOD-CBRN) to provide comprehensive security coverage to the centres within their jurisdiction.

Osifeso said the team are to collaborate with JAMB officials, staff of the Ministry of Police Affairs, Police Service Commission, and all other relevant government agencies tasked with supervising the test for a smooth exercise.
