Four impostors who have been defrauding unsuspected motorists in Ibadan metropolis have been arested by personnel of the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA).
According to OYRTMA, the four impostors were arrested on Monday and had been involved in defrauding the motoring public around Akobo, Ajala and General Gas area of Ibadan.
In a statement by the OYRTMA management, the arrest followed a series of complaints by members of the public on their activities in the areas.
According to the statement, in receipt of the complaint, the authority swang unti action and through covert operations with other securit agencies, the impostors were arrested.
OYRTMA has also handed over the impostors to the Oyo State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.
