The Israeli troops have shot dead a Palestinian at a bus station in West Bank.
The army reported that the man was allegedly killed while running towards the troops with a knife on Friday.
In a statement released on Friday by the Israeli army, the man arrived at a junction and got out of a car armed with a knife. It was gathered that he ran toward the soldiers.
Members of the Palestinian Red Crescent said the Israeli security forces prevented their paramedics from reaching the young man before he died and was transferred away.
The West Bank has seen repeated violence as violence against Palestinians has grown in recent weeks. A Palestinian was recently shot dead by a Jewish man in the northern parts of the West Bank.
The Israeli army responded by an attack that killed at least four Palestinians and caused confrontations between Palestinians and Israeli forces.
