A Palestinian has been killed during an armed confrontation with Israeli forces in the northern West Bank.
It was gathered that the named man, Jamil al-Kayyal, died today, Monday, as a result of bullet shots to his head.
Online videos show the man bleeding and lying on the ground after the security forces had left the area.
According to Israeli police, it is claimed that the special forces officers had arrested a suspect in Nablus and seized a semi-automatic weapon. When done, rioters attacked the officials with explosive devices as the forces then responded with gunshots, and appeared to hit one of them.
The Palestinian news agency also claimed that two other Palestinian were wounded after the Israeli officials were retreating from the scene of the attack. Sources said the Israeli military vehicle ran them over.
Also in another report, three Palestinians who were members of the Hamas group were killed after a shootout at the funeral of one of its members in a Lebanon refugee camp on Sunday.
Occasional arrests of Palestinian citizens by the Israeli security force has been a common ploy used by soldiers in the occupied West Bank to show power over its counterpart.
