Paris: Airport Chief Tests Positive For Coronavirus

 

Groupe ADP, the company that runs the operations of two key international airports in Paris, the Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports, reports that its Chief Officer, Augustin de Romanet, tested positive for coronavirus.

The company said that the chief's “state of health is not a cause for concern and does not prevent him from carrying out his functions,” and he will be in self-isolation for the next two weeks, while the appropriate health agencies in the country search for those with whom he has been in contact.

France has a record of 1,100 cases of coronavirus infection, making it the second most hit country in the European region, closely following Italy that is the worst hit in Europe, with its government shutting down movement in its northern regions for quarantining.
